2019-2022 Term of Office

The purpose of the Trent Hills Heritage Advisory Committee is to advise and assist Council and staff in matters related to cultural heritage resource conservation including public awareness of heritage, heritage planning and Heritage Act designation located within the Municipality.

The main areas of the Mandate of the Heritage Advisory Committee include:

  • Acting as an advisory body to Council
  • Recommending the inclusion or removal of a property in or from the Heritage Register
  • Provide public educaton and promote awareness and conservaton of Trent Hills' cultural heritage through the Heritage Awareness Plaque Program and brochures

The By-law to Establish a Heritage Advisory Committee sets out the complete Mandate of the Committee.

The Committee is comprised of Five (5) Members of the Public, and One (1) Council Member, as Chair of the Committe.

The Committee will meet at five (5) times per year, with no meetings scheduled in July or August.

Applications may be submitted online, or in person or by mail to the Municipality of Trent Hills, 66 Front Street South, P.O. Box 1030, Campbellford, ON K0L 1L0, in a sealed envelope marked "Heritage Advisory Committee Application".
