2019-2022 Term of Office

The purpose of the Trent Hills Community Development Advisory Committee is to advise and assist Council and staff in matters related to community development, economic development and downtown revitalization.

The Mandate of the Community Development Advisory Committee includes:

  • Acting as an advisory body to Council
  • Reviewing and making recommendations regarding the Community Improvement Plan program
  • Reviewing and making recommendtions, as directed by Council, regarding:
    • Economic development;
    • Downtown revitalization; and
    • Any other matter deemed appropriate.

The By-law to Establish a Community Development Advisory Committee sets out the complete Mandate of the Committee.

The Committee is comprised of Seven (7) Members of the Public, and Two (2) Council Member, as Chair and Vice Chair of the Committe.

To achieve balance and diversity within the members, consideration may include backgrounds in:

  • Agriculture;
  • Business and/or Revitalization Associations;
  • Chamber of Commerce; and
  • Community Service Organizations.

The Committee will endeavour to meet four (4) times per year.

Applications may be submitted online, or in person or by mail to the Municipality of Trent Hills, 66 Front Street South, P.O. Box 1030, Campbellford, ON K0L 1L0, in a sealed envelope marked "Community Development Advisory Committee Application".
